RCIA/RCIA for children

What does it mean to be Catholic?  How do I become Catholic? How long is the process?  How do I get started?

RCIA, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is the process by which persons become fully initiated into the Catholic Church.

RCIA is for adults  (18+):
Who were baptized Catholics but never received First Communion or Confirmation;
Who were baptized in another Christian faith and wish to become Catholic;
Who were never baptized and wish to become Catholic.

RCIA for Children is the process by which children between 7 and 18 years old who have not been baptized and wish to become Catholic, become fully initiated into the Catholic Church.  For additional information in English, please contact Deacon Michael Muench at 281-452-9865 ext 17 or by email at DcnMichael@standrewchurch.net.
